IMPORTANT NOTE: For males we shave the head at the site of transplant for optimum results and also trim the hair elsewhere by 5 mm length to facilitate trychophytic closure. For Females we will NOT shave the head. Most of our HT schedules start early in the morning at 6:00 AM IST @ Marathalli, this would provide fresh atmosphere to the surgeon and also to the person who would be undergoing HT and he can return back by afternoon. Dr Reddy would take rest for next 4 hours and he will be available for consultations (only) in the evening at his BTM clinic You can get the below test done at your home town / city one or two days before the HT proceedure OR on the day of HT. Hb - heamoglobin CT - clotting time BT - bleeding time HIV HbsAG RBS/FBS- random or fasting blood sugar. If the patient is aged above 40, they require SERUM CREATININE TEST ALSO. ABOVE 45 , REQUIRE ECG TOO. Else, you can get them done at our hospital lab also once you reach Bangalore. These charges are not included in your HT amount. These are extra. Even if you get the blood test done elsewhere, we do perform HBSAG and HIV test here which are mandatory. Pioneer ( Dr. Sreedhar Reddy ) has right to cancel any of the cases if all the above parameters are not met. The advance amount will NOT be refunded in this case Please do call us one or two days before you actually start to Bangalore, so that we can effectively track your schedule and plan accordingly.
